Three Kingdoms of Korea

The Three Kingdoms period in Korean history refers to the period of time from 57 BC to AD 668 when Korea was divided into three separate lands: Silla, Goguryo, and Baekje. The three kingdoms constantly vied for control over the peninsula. The three may have sprouted from one heritage, but, with time, they developed their own distinct art style and culture.
